Our Easter festivities began with an eggstravaganza Thursday afternoon. It was delayed slightly by a mudfest in the back yard. When the sun shines in Michigan it is important to be outside, regardless of ground conditions. Andrew now needs new shoes. We can't even see his old ones under the mud. I recall they were blue... Everyone was covered so it was big shower time. Everyone in the big shower at once. I can clean them all in about 20 minutes. OK, 30. If I hurry. They were a mess. The laundry was another story; it will never be clean again.
Artists at Work...

Happy Easter Weekend! The Easter Bunny came by the house in the wee hours of Good Friday so we could focus on the Savior this Sunday. We were thrilled at his availability! And Daddy has the day off - thank you Takata! The children came running in to our room about 7:30 saying, "We looked out the window and there are Easter eggs all over the yard! They're everywhere!" The Easter Bunny had such a good time in the moonlight. Almost a full moon and the deer had cleared out early. So with the announcement of eggs we all got dressed and went down for waffles and... another surprise!
After a very short ("we're not very hungry today...") breakfast, we got our coats on and went out for the hunt. Technical difficulties are preventing the video upload, but perhaps in another post. What a great morning. I'll post fancy Sunday pictures too, so check back in!
